Celtic Designs

This stunning Celtic art, combines radial symmetry in math, and a variety of elements and principles of design. This project covers Common Core Standards for Math for grades 4-8 which can be found at the end of the lesson.

Grade Level

4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders – The examples in this lesson are by 5th graders.

Objective  

In this Celtic Design Art Lesson, students will create a Celtic design using construction paper.
