Create a painter’s pallet to show off the elements of design with this creative Elements of Design Bulletin Board that every art room needs!

This is a great Elements of Design Bulletin Board for showing off the Elements of Art. I had some extra room so I added the poster about what to do it you make a mistake.
How to make this
I created this using a large piece of black poster board. I used different colors of construction paper and typed up the names of the elements. Notice how I cut them into blobs to indicate the idea of a paint splotch. Once I glued everything together, I laminated it for staying power. I used my own typed up words for each element for the main board. However, you could also use these from Awesome Artists. While this link is for the color version, they also offer a black and white version. Use fun things from around your room to visualize examples of each element. Go to a local hardware store and grab a paint sample to show a value scale. I drew some examples of lines and shape/forms, and added a variety of textures. You could use any landscape image so showcase the idea of space perspective. I put a pin with my color wheel hanging on it. I grab it off whenever needed. What a great reinforcement!
A separate board might include the Principles of Design.
